| POLICY, TERMS & CONDITIONS | |
RESERVATIONS |
We require a deposit of $300.00 per cottage per week/weekend or $60.00 per person, whichever is the greater, which we will refund in full if you cannot be accommodated. No postdated cheques. Reservations accepted on a "first-come, first-served"basis. You do not have a reservation unless your deposit is received and confirmed by us in writing. All rates quoted are in Canadian currency. |
DEPOSIT CHEQUES |
VISA and MasterCard accepted. Please call us toll free at 1.877.826.2592 or mail your cheque, payable to Heather and Joe Guido, 1164 Highway 654West, R.R. #1, Callander, Ontario, Canada POH lH0. Foreign currencies accepted at prevailing bank rates. |
SUBSTITUTIONS |
We reserve the right to substitute accommodation and/or equipment should the need arise due to circumstances beyond our control. |
REFUNDS |
No refunds for late arrivals or early departures; outboard fuel left in our tanks is non-refundable. No credit given if facilities offered or equipment arranged for is not used. No credit or refund given if accommodations and amenities described in this brochure are not supplied due to causes beyond the control of Tama Kwa Inc. |
CANCELLATIONS |
A $100.00 cancellation charge applies to all cancellations. The balance of your deposit is returned to you provided: a 60 days notice of cancellation was received and the vacancy created by your cancellation has been re-rented, failing which, the balance of your deposit is not refunded. Boats & motors reserved and confirmed by us, will be charged in full unless notice of cancellation is received 30 days prior to start of vacation. |
CHECK-IN, CHECK-OUT |
Weekly check-in time is 4:00 p.m. Weekly check-out time is 9:00 a.m. Daily check-in and check-out time as stated in our letter of confirmation. If you arrive sooner, please be prepared to wait. Late check-out charge $30.00/hour or part. |
PAYMENT METHODS |
Please be prepared to settle your account for accommodation and boat rentals on arrival by cash or traveller's cheques. VISA, Mastercard and Interac accepted. Incidentals such as bait, ice, fuel etc. payable on the eve of your departure. |
NO SHOWS |
Guests not showing up at the pre-arranged time and date without giving notice by phone, mail, E-mail or fax, constitute "no-shows" and will be held liable for 100% of the total value of their reservation. |
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY |
Our 2 bedroom units are equipped for and sleep up to 8 persons (4 double beds). Our 3 bedroom unit is equipped for and sleeps up to 13 persons (6 double beds, 1 single bed). Should you wish to exceed capacity we will provide cots complete with linen free of charge. |
VISITATIONS |
Please advise your visitors to register at the reception each time they visit. There is a $6.00 charge per person per day, regardless of age. No visitors after 10:00 p.m. We reserve the right to limit the amount of visitors as well as the frequency of visitations. |
DAMAGES |
All damages to Tama Kwa Vacationland property or the property of our registered guests, caused by any member or visitor of your party, or malfunctioning equipment must be reported immediately. Guests and their visitors are fully responsible for all damages and losses to boats, motors and other equipment, however caused. Please note that broken, bent or nicked propellors, skegs, or lower units etc. as a result of a collision with submerged objects etc. do not constitute "normal wear and tear" and will be billed at cost. |
LIABILITY |
Tama Kwa Vacationland and it's owners will not be held liable for any damages, injuries or losses incurred by our guests while on our premises or while operating our boats and motors. Guests are responsible for the actions and safety of their children and visitors. |
FACILITIES |
Facilities offered at Tama Kwa Vacationland are for the exclusive use of our registered guests and used solely at their own risk We do not employ a life guard, therefore please supervise your children accordingly. |
MISCELLANEOUS |
It is a serious offense to disable a smoke detector or fire alarm. We do not accept pets of any kind. Please no fireworks. Please no firearms. Costs resulting from frivolously discharging our fire extinguishers will be charged to the guest. |
